New Trio Album: Sleepwalkers

Omer Klein’s new album, Sleepwalkers, is due February 17, 2017, and marks Klein’s debut for Warner Music. Omer recorded his newest work with his world-touring trio feat. Haggai Cohen-Milo on bass and Amir Bresler on drums. The 13 original compositions explore themes of Internet-Age isolation, music’s relation to the mysterious, and the trio’s life on the road. On February 9th, Omer Klein was announced as a nominee for the ECHO Jazz 2016 award, for his work on Fearless Friday. This is Omer’s first ECHO nomination. He is nominated in the category “Instrumentalist of the Year, National – Piano/Keyboard”. The award ceremony will take place in Hamburg on May 26.

Omer Wins the NRW Förderpreis 2015!

Omer Klein was announced as the winner of the NRW Förderpreis 2015. The award is given yearly to two musicians, selecting from all instrumentalists, composers and conductors, in all genres. The award ceremony will take place on November 16, at the K21 Museum in Düsseldorf.
