Klein is nominated in the “Piano/Keyboard Instruments” category, and the Omer Klein Trio is nominated in the “Live Act of the Year” category. The award ceremony will take place on April 18, 2024, in Köln.

Recorded in Berlin in the autumn of 2023, the album finds Omer in an intimate mode, putting his own spin on some of his favourite Christmas songs and standards.

Omer Klein Trio – Omer, Amir Bresler and Haggai Cohen Milo – were awarded the German Music Prize (ECHO) for Sleepwalkers, in the Best Ensemble category. This is Omer’s third nomination and first win, and the trio’s first nomination and win. Congratulations!
01.03.2018: The ECHO Jazz Jury has announced the nominations for this year’s German music prize. Omer Klein Trio is nominated for an ECHO in the Ensemble Category, and Omer is also nominated in the pianist category. Both nominations are for the trio’s debut on Warner Music, Sleepwalkers.

Omer Klein’s new album, Sleepwalkers, is due February 17, 2017, and marks Klein’s debut for Warner Music. Omer recorded his newest work with his world-touring trio feat. Haggai Cohen-Milo on bass and Amir Bresler on drums. The 13 original compositions explore themes of Internet-Age isolation, music’s relation to the mysterious, and the trio’s life on the road. Omer is proud to join the Steinway & Sons Artist Roster, which includes some of his favorite artists, from Martha Argerich to Keith Jarrett. Omer stated: “No words can express the joy I’ve had playing Steinway pianos.”
On February 9th, Omer Klein was announced as a nominee for the ECHO Jazz 2016 award, for his work on Fearless Friday. This is Omer’s first ECHO nomination. He is nominated in the category “Instrumentalist of the Year, National – Piano/Keyboard”. The award ceremony will take place in Hamburg on May 26.
Omer Klein was announced as the winner of the NRW Förderpreis 2015. The award is given yearly to two musicians, selecting from all instrumentalists, composers and conductors, in all genres. The award ceremony will take place on November 16, at the K21 Museum in Düsseldorf.
Omer Klein is on the cover of the May/June of Jazzthetik Magazine! Omer is featured in a detailed 4-pages interview, about his work in general and Fearless Friday in particular.

OKT is back on the road in October 2014, with concerts in Brussels, Paris, Bern, Düsseldorf, Bremen and Hamburg, and recording sessions in France for their upcoming 2015 release.
